About the Role

TargetLab is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Medical Sales Representative to expand our network of referring doctors and healthcare providers in Durban. The successful candidate will be responsible for acquiring new doctors, strengthening relationships with existing practices, and promoting TargetLab’s diagnostic and pathology services. Medical sales representatives in pathology and laboratory services are typically responsible for developing referral networks, building relationships with healthcare professionals, and driving business growth through territory management and client acquisition.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and acquire new General Practitioners, Specialists, Clinics, and Medical Centres.
• Conduct regular visits to doctors’ rooms and healthcare facilities.
• Promote TargetLab’s pathology and diagnostic services.
• Build and maintain long-term relationships with healthcare professionals.
• Achieve monthly and quarterly acquisition targets.
• Organize presentations and educational sessions for medical practitioners.
• Monitor competitor activities and market opportunities.
• Provide feedback and market intelligence to management.

Requirements

• Minimum Grade 12 (Diploma or Degree advantageous).
• Previous experience in medical, pharmaceutical, pathology, or healthcare sales preferred.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Self-motivated, target-driven, and professional.
• Valid driver’s license and own reliable vehicle.
• Willingness to travel within Durban and surrounding areas.
